All Pakistan Mathematical Conference
7th to 9th June, 2007

All Pakistan Mathematical Association (APMA), founded in 1960, organized All Pakistan Mathematical Conference from 7th to 9th June, 2007 at Pakistan Academy of Sciences (PAS) Auditorium, Islamabad. The convener of the conference was Prof. Dr. Q.K. Ghori, the President of APMA.

The major sponsor of the conference was PAS, along with NCP, NUST and CIIT. About two hundred delegates from all over Pakistan participated in the conference. Twenty three national and international speakers presented their research in the conference.

The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Ishfaq Ahmad, President, Pakistan Academy of Sciences and special advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Beside the working sessions, elections for the new executive body were also held. Prof. Dr. Saleem Asghar was elected President for the next term.

At the closing ceremony Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, member HEC, was the chief guest.
